I’m so sick of stories building up a puppy dog character who starts off so sweet and loyal to MC only to devolve into a yandere antagonist later LIKEEEE WHY WASTE MY TIME MAKING ME BUILD AFFECTION FOR THIS CHARACTER JUST TO SHIT ON HIM AFTERRR
I rly hoped it wasn’t the case w yul but I’m being ambushed with this trope again (checked the novel spoilers after I started feeling like I’ve seen this play before… this is too soon after rereading villains are bound to die (?) and seeing eckles get absolutely trashed as a character LOL) WHAT IS WITH THIS TROPE OF BAITING US WITH A FAKEOUT ML only to swap him out later with a blander more boring choice >:’(((((
Tbf maybe this is just what harem/reverse harem stories are about and I should stop ragebaiting myself with these stories
