I did not read the novel but other webtoons Linked to this story. I think he wants to kidnapp him bc he traumatised his husband, like he needs a " lesson "
They wanted to have the little brother beat him up a bit for redemption and so little brother can finally get over it, but Dane just wants to beat the shit out of him during this lmao.

They want to kidnap him, because Chase still has some issues and Josh thinks it would help him to get closure to get it off his chest. Chase is a victim of Grayson's help, although it helped, it caused some trauma on Chase.
What Chase wants it that Grayson understands that his help has hurt him, so they think kidnapping Grayson, making him unable to talk back, would help Chase making that clear to Grayson.
While actually Grayson's development in this story is what is really needed. Since it is not about beating up Grayson or so, it's about him understanding Chase.
