tbh it looked plastic-y to me. it’s extravagant like a plastic necklace toy with gemstones. but knowing it’s real, is kinda crazy. looked like it came from Graft
I've seen many necklace like that at jewelry stores at malls. Like the very over the top designs that make me wonder on what occasion would that be appropriate to wear if you're not a celebrity, millionaire, or politicians going to some rich ass party. Or if those necklace are at all comfortable to wear at all. Some even look right out torture to put on. Metal and jewels are heavy so I can't get the thought of how a kid is carrying around something that heavy and not notice the weight. If I had a plush that had something heavy on it, I would usually take it off if I can to make carrying around easier.
i agree. even with cheap gemstones it would be heavy. considering its a gift for a child it does looks childish, a child will definitely pick that if she's given the selection. i believe grayson thought about what looks better (he kinda has a child-like thinking sometimes). it's a nice gift :))

I thought the design would be more subtle and maybe cute that it could be seen as a cheap and fake necklace, but HOW DO PEOPLE NOT LOOK AT THAT AND THOUGHT "IS THAT REAL?" Mind you, in the novel, that girl brought that teddy bear everywhere with her. That looks heavy too so it should have some notable weight compared to a fake one.
