SPOILERS: While in the helicopter Grayson pretends to have a seizure saying he’s afraid of heights which ultimately led to Grayson pulling them both out of the helicopter. Grayson had a parachute in his hand ready so they use that. So the place they landed has this Miller’s mansion, like a vacation home. And Grayson literally traps Dane in that mansion with no outside contact. So then one night Dane gets his heat cycle and climbs into Grayson’s bed (they had separate rooms). Dane forces himself on Grayson who didn’t consented to the act (though he comes to enjoy it). Grayson even throws a fit saying it wasn’t consented and it was literally grape. And Dane genuinely apologises and acknowledges what he did was wrong (using his dominant omega pheromones on Grayson). So then Grayson suggested they should start dating to make up for that. And Dane agrees (still not looking for love but he felt like he should).That is how the kidnapping arc ended and became the start of their relationship. The story continues.

Josh wants to kidnap Grayson so as to teach him a lesson for what he did to Chase. That’s all to it. Chase has no idea of this btw. He wants to get back at Grayson for the severe trauma Grayson brought upon the love of his life Chase. You know Josh is really protective when it comes to Chase.
