I kinda agree from ML perspective MC ruined all his future plan. But, let's be clear, the one who started it also ML. MC won't be delulu about them being together if ML didn't approach him first
I don’t know maybe I’m missing where ML was promising MC a future together because there’s plenty of FWBs out there who can grasp their situation without spiraling or leeching on in delusion like MC is.
They are both adults, MC was also capable of communication and clarifying where they stood before they reached this point. They share that burden. I can’t help thinking the MC isn’t that delusional because he’s constantly thinking that the ML doesn’t even like him so how much did the ML actually lead him on?
This isn’t me taking MLs side by any means it’s just a devils advocate thing because I hate the kind of character like MC is given and also comments seem a little too one sided.
Y'all are really coming for ML (and I get he’s got iffy points) but from what I see MC is the one who is deadass intentionally crashing his life (excluding getting pregnant)? He’s got all these thoughts like “he doesn’t like me it’s just pity, he doesn’t think it’s his baby, he’s getting married in a couple months, he asked me to leave him alone/blocked me” but he continues to leech onto this man and ignore basic signals?
All I’ve seen from MC is his own selfish intentions. I understand making him take responsibility but that’s child support (which he CAN do clearly.) Forcing a loveless (from his perspective) marriage is fucking crazy, especially when all we can tell is that he only values this baby as a means of tying ML to him. I know yall will say “ML offered the marriage” yall anyone with awareness and self respect would have been like “no, I don’t want my kid to grow up in an environment like that and you already have a fiancée so that’s not the way to go about this. You can coparent and provide child support, that’s enough.” That’s the logical path.
He really didn’t give a fuck he had a whole fiancée/life (which, hold MFs accountable fr but I’m assuming it would have likely been an arranged business marriage so IDGAF, he was in his rut so I give a pass on him being out of his mind) or even how that poor baby would grow up in this environment. It’s all really selfish obsession.
Idk just a confused rant because I hate character with no self respect.
