This story is getting harder for me to keep up with. There are so many balls in the air! Seo-woo has a neglectful adoptive family who are her only safety net, Won-hyeok "killed his father?", Won-heok is also keeping a secret from Seo-woo, and Ji Seung-chan is wedging his way towards both of them for info. I still don't have a clear understanding of what's even going on. What's so strong about this story is its emotional layers. So I'm hoping Won-heok can be honest about his anxieties, so his relationship with Seo-woo improves. Rn, he's back at projecting his insecurities onto Seo-woo instead of talking to her rationally. This story will eventually need to hit a breaking point, because of how unreasonable Won-heok is. It hopefully is in the next chapter. I'm barely keeping. up.
