1. Time skip was after the death if the apha (but actually beta) first son fo the old man. It happened to show how the family has been doing after the collapse of missing alphas or the secrets of the family being exposed. (Its also probably as we have been showed in the past that iori and the miya (omega hiding as alpha) will reconnect and find their pairing)
2.because he was the black sheep of the family, and was expelled form school, family felt ashamed of him. The father of iori(beta pretending to be alpha) knew he was alpha.. but because the father is a beta is almost impossible to create an alpha.(im not sure if iori is a bastard) so the father never really actually liked him, and wanted reiko (ioris sister) to be the heir as to surpass alpha-omegas conforms, in disguise because she was a beta and smart too. In relaity he was just unlucky.
3.yes the son (who is the father of irori and reiko) did lie and he did kill his sister (from poisoning)
4,he does, right before the time skip he confessed he is an omega as everyone else already knew that reiko was a beta. So who would lead the family. He confessed he was omega at the moment. Family did not do anything but keep it a secret for gossip and status purposes. So he still hiding he is an alpha to the world just not to his family.
