The purge kicked this manhwa off my reading list but I am glad because the author seems to really enjoy making contrived scenarios where the person who was deeply DEEPLY unforgivably betrayed is still really hung up on the betrayer (not entirely negatively either) and also pines for them and forgives them even if they don’t deserve it and haven’t done enough or anything to be forgiven. In five years Yeongwon couldn’t have found anyone else she loves or who understands her or deeply cares for her in terms of even friendship to the point where they would yeet dumbass Sungji out of her life? The author enjoys debasing Yeongwon. Regardless of what happens Sungji also always seems to have the fucking upper hand emotionally.
