At this point, I don’t think Heejae is being a hypocrite on purpose. I think this is the first time he genuinely cares about another person and is able to recognize Compton’s treatment of Garam for what it actually is: verbal abuse. That’s why he’s so shocked that Garam keeps excusing Compton’s actions, because Heejae never saw what he did to Garam as abuse in the first place, because he didn't see Garam as a human back then, just as Compton sees his orchestra
It's the hypocrisy for me. Like Heejae doesn't even have the right to comment on the whole situation when HE DOES THE SAME SHIT. Im glad Garam is finally seeing it and seems he's gonna call Heejae out for it.
