it was a nightmare/ bad daydreaming kind of scene. jeongro knew it was his fault he & gyul were no longer together & felt pathetic for missing him because of it, so his own mind created this scene of him signing the paper & agreeing to let go of gyul once & for all since he knew he had no right to miss him after what he did.

Can someone explain why Jeongro was signing something and crying in chapter 44 I don't get it like what happened in that scene?...
