it was a nightmare/ bad daydreaming kind of scene. jeongro knew it was his fault he & gyul were no longer together & felt pathetic for missing him because of it, so his own mind created this scene of him signing the paper & agreeing to let go of gyul once & for all since he knew he had no right to miss him after what he did.

What's a bit weird though that the art is just fine for chapter 1-19, the style changed a bit starting from chapter 20 (the face, especially)) and immediately got better again by mid 30s but yeah I can tell they're always drawn by the same person/team I guess there were production issues for a bit during that window

Oh I thought the one from the first 20 chapters was a totally different artist. But I liked the first style more it lowkey reminded me of Honbul, so I thought they were the same artist at first

Manhwa production nowadays is almost always handled as a team than one person so perhaps it's more that the one in charge of the line art did change for a while, like from chapter 20-30s and then the main artist either came back or the replacement artist just got so much better (I suspect the former), thus why I said it's certainly always done by the same team even eith the proportion changes because aside from the faces, other aspects such as the coloring, rendering, bg, etc remains consistent. By chapter 40 you will eventually forget that it ever changed at all cuz suddenly the art us super good again
