maybe it's because bottom thought top doesn't love him and he's afraid to get rejected so he just ran away...sorry, i'm trying to help but i realized that i forgot the plot...
i think the bottom just wants to live in piece and end this nowhere leading cycle and the pregnancy + break up were just catalyst to get him moving
both are traumatized, suck at communicating and the grandfather also seems to interfere in the relationship so it really is the easiest way to just cut all off and get away

But then he also made the top think he slept with someone random which made him flare his trauma. Top felt guilty. But bottom didn’t want to tell him what actually happened? Neither top or bottom knew he was omega or that top was just reacting to his pheromones the whole time... I guess I’m confused on what bottoms goal even is? Just run away with the baby? lol.
