I really, really want them NOT to be together. Let's just see. Logically, I don't care about Nanjo - he's got a bulletproof psyche, he'll find himself a new twink, maybe even offer to strap himself on if his pride allows it. But the blond guy's got a serious problem with his head; he needs someone gentle, patient, and loving, so he can at least have a chance to escape this endless loop, where he seeks love from people who are incapable of giving it to him. And if at the beginning of the story you want them to be together, at the point where he starts to lose his mind, it's not fun anymore. And given Nanjo's character, nothing good will come of it, even if Nanjo takes pity.
