IDK what this series is anymore

There was a really cool concept, but it was very much rushed/glossed over (seriously; the important chapters are probably 1/5 of the total length), and I'm not really sure what they're doing now. The main couple is just relaxing after the main branch of MC's family is taken down, but we don't see him helping his family recover from the trauma they all experienced for years--including siblings that were sent away for not being alphas. He just...goes off to stay with ML, and the whole "three in one" personality thing makes the whole origins storyline feel pointless--as does the "respectable" ML personality end up drugging and getting overexcited with sex towards MC, taking away a lot of his uniqueness.

It's called being happy. Main characters do not need to be involved in dramas and traumas all the time. They are healing and finally able to enjoy themselves. These parts are what most readers look forward to like me. ٩(๑❛ᴗ❛๑)۶

But they introduced stuff that isn't fixed. MC's dad is grieving (he even cried at the beginning when he was being sent off) and his siblings are not mentioned or seen at the end. If he's happy, it looks like he didn't care about them. Plus most of the story has been about them spending time with each other, so they've been able to enjoy themselves for a while.

And IDK how they can heal, since the whole backstory was about ML assaulting and trying to possess MC, and MC even supports his anger towards the people who imprisoned him (bypassing the overarching omegaverse issue), and it contradicts the original retelling that MC betrayed him. This doesn't just ignore the possibly interesting story, but once again glamorizes assault and the MC doesn't hold him for it.
