I think the setup was neat, but I got iffy about it. Aside from Minjo not being the type of guy I like in BLs (WAY too scrawny with no thickness), he looks like a child, especially in certain scenes that draw him with big eyes. Chu is pretty hot, but his behavior is obviously problematic; while his age helps (usually in BLs, older guys are a lot more pervy/sleazy without a cool factor), he's still harassing and forceful, though the narrative also wants us to believe he's a sensitive guy who's a big softie. If he wasn't so rough with Minjo (he almost choked him out because he was in his feelings), maybe I'd like him.
But yeah, a cool plot can't make up for the lack of sexiness on the MC's part and problematic ML.
