i was happily rereading til i got to the part where the mc was forcing ml to meet his mom & saying nonsense abt she’s still his mom whatnot. pissed me off so much. i know, i know there will be some development but when i first read this i was much younger and immature that maybe i didn’t mind what the mc was doing. but growing up is realizing and putting yourself in the ml’s shoes. if my partner force & surprise me with my abuser or the person who caused my trauma, i’m breaking up fr. like you really don’t know me at all. tho i really am trying to understand the mc bc he’s naive. he genuinely thinks that he’s doing the ml a favor. ugh. but i will continue rereading bc in my head, this was peak. also here for the development
