I came back after reading the book and id say the book is a little bit better bc we do get more inner monologue regarding ML behaviour. Bro is almost like a tsundere/kuudere, the more out of control MC makes him the more he puts on a bad face and his mouth is indeed mean, but the vibes are more relaxed. Also the humor and back and forth banter reads better in the novel. It reads less like ML being an ass and more like him being dryly sarcastic and outwardly hard/inwardly soft, with MC aware of his inner thoughts and just playing along and firing back shots ie. "No matter how mean mouthed you are, I know u can't help but like me, so stop playing dumb" basically.

But this is a really great adaption tho esp the tie scene it was transfered over very well. Also the drawings are perfect esp the top, just amazing. At first the banter in the webtoon was kinda awkward for me cause the light mood didn't transfer as well(to me) and the ML seemed more sharp tongued but the artist got better at it I think. After reading the novel tho I rlly felt the playful mood even more. I'll reread the webtoon again.
