i'm no pearl clutcher, we're basically 50 chapters in if the subject matter bothered me trust i would have left. but the translator note was so tone deaf, made me think "bruh are we reading the same story? tf you mean he'll do anything for dih he's literally trying to survive psychological and physical torture through the mechanism of their power imbalance". and then seeing all the comments eating this shit up was so surprising, are so many people really reading and taking the things mc is saying under duress at face value(?) since when did reading with one hand mean throwing out all reading comprehension skills.
