Jiwan's struggle as a gay man is so raw and real and it really resonates with alot of ppl that is part of the community. His internalized homophobia is the product of abuse from his parents so I understand him but I know that accepting Kangtae's love is healing him and they also plan to have a meeting with the parents so I know he's braver now. Also him having a kid is really a non-issue for me bcs i know irl a gay man who have children so it's not shocking to me it just adds realism to me. The age gap is not even that big it's just 5 yrs and Jiwan didn't have any romantic feelings for Kangtae when he was a kid and didn't even pursue him there's also a time skip here and there and they started a relationship when both are adult so it's not an issue for me.
