It is more detailed on their emotions
It does have its very uncomfortable moments (the end of volume 2 and most of volume 3 are the worst offenders).
It just depends on your tolerance levels. If you’re able to handle the manhwa (which is less graphic) then you might be ok with the novel, but if you find the manhwa too graphic, the niveles are a lot more detailed (and triggering).
The novel. I don't mind darker stories but is it too traumatic?
