Unpopular opinion

Unpopular opinion. I know this is for the plot to progress but staying at the place of a guy you barely know is kinda wild. I have strict parents and would rather go back, filter their rant from my brain (unless there is physical abuse) and just prepare to move out for real. I know she is trying to stand for herself but at the end of the day, she stopped going home for some dih too.

Also this is just lazy writing, because that dude is completely incapable of winning her over by being interesting and thoughtful, we have to go through the plot device of roommate situation. It's also for the smut scenes to happen more easily i guess. Am i too harsh on a smut webtoon? Maybe

i have strict parents too and i would also rather stay at home and move out by myself when i have the money for it unless you're at your limit.

everyone has a limit and when its crossed you just act because that's what you need or else you'll lose your mind which is the case in this story. she already left the house for a few days (which she wasn't allowed to) and the parents obviously lost their shit so going back will only make it worse and you'll lose all your freedom and her parents will definitely hit her when she goes back so there is abuse.

if i were in her position and i didn't have any other choice, i would also stay at the guys place because i would think that everything is better than going back home. i don't know what kind of strict parents you have but it doesn't really matter because i actually really relate to her.

Same. She’s obviously afraid of the consequences if she were to return, and it wouldn’t be a simple shouting—she’s also being disciplined at her grown age, mind you. Not only is this embarrassing, it’s belittling. I’m glad she decided to ask the guy if she could stay a couple days, although she was hesitant, it didn’t seem she was necessarily uncomfortable with him just awkward abt asking

I relate to you. I have strict parents too with full of expectations, since I also try to excell. I have my own rebellious moments, cutting classes, drinking etc. But I always do that without them knowing, like I still go home like it's a normal day and make efforts not to affect my responsibilities. I guess it depends, maybe by how we were disciplined, or how we think is better. Personally tho if I run away from home just like what she did it would only escalate, it will become messy and I don't want that. I didn't even like how her parents went to her friend and probably went to her school lol, and if ever they would find out I'm with a guy hell no, that's just gonna prove them and their way of thinking. I'll choose to go home too like u and leave home later.

i get what you're saying but the thing is at some point you'll snap like she did and when you do you can't just go back to how things were before.
she snapped and acted without thinking about what she'll do if she leaves but in that moment the only thing that crosses ones mind is "everything is better than going back home".

her situation escalated and she left the house which only made it worse but it already happen. going back now would be suicidal especially since we saw how her parents reacted when she called them.

i personally wouldn't have run away either and would have tried to move out but only because i wouldn't have anywhere to stay at but she did. she had her friend which worked out for a few days until it didn't. since the whole situation already escalated with running away, not answering their calls and the parents going over to the friends place to obviously DRAG her back home, she can't just go back and wait until she's ready to move out.

the moment she goes back, the parents will obviously hit her and will take the little freedom away that she has.

i also have the rebellious moments that my parents don't know of because that keeps me sane and hers was staying out the night and sleeping with the guy which caused the situation to escalate but after she ran away, she felt free and that's something that she wants to have and that freedom that she got to know now will stop her from going back home and letting her parents push her around.

there's actually a lot i can say about the parents because i see my own parents in them even though my own parents are even worse but it's gonna be a long paragraph if i get into detail and i really tried to keep it short right now but i get what you're saying, i just don't agree with it. i think she did the right choice. i would have done the same.
