This was such a cute story. I thought it was gonna be weird because of the whole human-dog thing, but reading it completely changed my mind; this is a metaphor to owning a pet. Animals are animals just like humans are animals , owning an animal is like raising a teen, a child, a toddler—they grow, and you can’t expect any less from them . It can go either direction via pet or baby: if you can’t commit to a living thing, why have it? It’s a beautiful short story that deserves more attention
By any chance does anyone remember the name of this shojo story I lost during the whole refresh:
I can’t remember how the characters look anymore, but the whole plot was that the fl accepted a marriage in contract from ml—I don’t know why exactly but he was giving her a lot $$. The day of the last day of the contract I think the ml gets into a car accident or some sort of accident which swipes the part of the memory where his marriage was a fraud & sees the wedding photos fl and ml took to deceive ml family. They looked happy in the photos (he doesn’t know it’s a sham) and starts thinking their marriage is fr and refuses to divorce her because he thinks they had a faulty fall out since he lost his memory. Fl is distraught because all she wanted/needed was the money so (last i remember) she tries helping him remember their contract
I know it’s a basic trope but it’s been in my head for soo long it hurts just thinking about it
ISO of a Josei where the ml was undercover as fls husband. She was blind for x amount of years and got her vision back when her husband disappeared & no one even remembers the husband existence. Apparently she said she was crazy before when she was a child —or sum like that —so she’s all obsessed with finding him. They meet at some sort of training with him being the boss; he obviously knows her and she don’t know him, she only remembers/thinks it’s him cus of his curved dick but he’s high key an asshole.
I hate when they shrink the amount of panels when we hit a climax
