I already think the beta sucks for being a manipulative jerk and the omega is kinda trash for abandoning the alpha (and the beta) because he didn't wanna choose between them and makes them both feel bad despite the alpha not doing anything bad to him of his own accord, but now this? Why "unique beta" instead of "alpha"? And even more to the point: was this established before? The doctor says MC would've had to release his pheromones deliberately to make the beta change, and the MC says he didn't know it would work. Was it explained beforehand that he was trying to do that?
