This entire "I need Lomonosov" is bullshit, Lomonosov, no matter how much he dotes on his son is not going to help Sergeev without getting his fair share, which is called crippling them. If I was Lomonosov, my enemy had to walk into my fucking doorstep to ask for help and the only shit they could offer me is the shit they stole from me, fuck the son, he can't leave anyway, I am going to milk Sergeev until they're nothing more than a side quest to wipe out and maybe by the end of my time, Lomonosov can swallow them up. You need me to live, you can live off me for the rest of your life. And you can think "ah well, Caesar's not going to let that happen"---Caesar basically admits he has no choice. His own organization is fucking him over. Even if he's one of the biggest organizations, internal disputes are messy, the executives have family, the family have friends, it's not supposed to be as easy as just set them up in a meeting and kill them all. So, his boyfriend is not the leader, and it does not make sense for the leader to bend his back over to this level---he is literally a criminal that threatened to keep the lawyer with him the next time he sees him. Which he does not do.

This makes no sense to me. No matter how strong Sergeev is, they are basically in the middle of an internal coop, why the fuck are you sitting your ass down. He literally said, "you're just giving back what you stole from me". They've been trying to kill each other for years, if Sergeev was that much stronger to so unilaterally demand from Lomonosov they would've taken them over a long, long time ago. Also, this entire "Lomonosov's son" makes zero sense, his dad has tried to kill you on so many occasions, how in the world is fucking simp winning over life and death---there is no world where that works out. And why does the lawyer not think for one moment, this guy that is always been killed by Lomonosov is not going to have any problem with him, Lomonosov's heir?

And the entire rape thing.

Lord, the lawyer is stupid as fuck sometimes, but he's not that dumb. If they at least paced it so he hates the guy for what he did it would make more sense because he is stupid. Like I'm sorry, you watched this guy try to shoot a kid, then he pats another and it's all good? Okay. But you know what would have been mildly better? If for all his "not mafioso" bullshit, Caesar going all the way with him pushes him to Lomonosov and they have this weird love-hate relationship for the remainder. I don't know how to describe it, I spent the entire reading over and over how fucking mafia this lawyer is and he doesn't become mafia even when he has a legitimate reason to become completely disillusioned with his fantasy and is locked with Lomonosov, where his dad is basically begging him to become the heir. Why, why would you set this up so perfectly and do absolutely nothing with it. It's such a good setup too...

Aka, Caesar is too yandere. The father is not. The lawyer is fucking stupid. And Sasha is like some handwavy magic wand they threw in at the end to make things work.

Of course, these are euhm just my own complaints... It's not anything serious, I'm just... disappointed? I don't even know what I was expecting, honestly. Or, if my complaints make sense, it's just internal strife + side organization always targetting you & its heir is your lover is usually grounds for a Bellone-Virgil level of hate-love relationship.
