i've reread this again and i'm sure shuraka will die by the hands of tei 1- when shuraka tells the rhyvan guy ''what better way to die than by the hands of the one you love'' this felt like a very symbolyc metaphor maybe it's a hidden detail it feels like one of those moments when the story is finished this would make sense once you reread it and already know the ending you'd go "ohhh shit a hidden detail" 2-when explaining the golden blood it says "when the bearer of they eye of natam ends up all alone flowers will grow from their blood as a punishment" this "alone" part doesn't sit right with me and maybe tei would put him out of misery before flowers grow from his body 3- the red rose meaning giving your heart to the one you give the rose to ( literally) maybe i'm wrong but i like to guess the plot of everything i watch/read so excuse me if i sound a little insane
