Ik everyone is mad abt her cheating (and I dont condone it) but I kinda took it as her also wanting a different reaction from him. At some point, he no longer mourned her death properly. He began to see it apathetically, as another failure, etc. She could see him becoming worn down and she mentions that what hurt more than the pain of dying was slowly seeing him become desensitized and apathetic to her. Perhaps she wanted a confirmation of his love for her. But yeah, these 15 long years took a lot from both of them and they are no longer the young loving couple they once were. It was just that one of them had to realize it. And Euri did. She didn't wanna live in an endless cycle where the people she loved grow older while she dies every year and stays forever young. She couldn't pretend that everything was okay anymore. So the year when she finally broke out of the cycle of reincarnation, she takes her life for real to liberate her and him of the curse. I think the story leaves some things to be desired but its overall a nuanced and memorable read! Better than the majority of the emotionless copy paste slop we get these days! Ik I am yapping lots. Thx for reading. Xoxo ٩(๑❛ᴗ❛๑)۶
