See the story is ok it's a happy ending but most of story is augst gaslighting and sprinkle of trauma because ml and mc are childhood friends ml wanted to be mc he doesn't if loves him or not if ml wants be in relationship or not mc loves ml and wanted a relationship and ml through mc might leave ml forever if mc didn't get relationship so they got in friends with benefits kinda situation and gaslighting and ml emotional hurt mc which is what my ex did to some of this parts like using me for sex and money , micro cheating , gaslighting turing it into emotionally toxic while he actively thought if he wants to be in this relationship or not while he was our relationship
