yeah, i feel the same. I usually dont mind red flags but... this story is so dull and the ml seems to do stuff just because he can. Things just stay surface-level. I dont think ill keep reading this
Most tops that are writen as jerks and mean do not have much of areason to act the way they do towards the bottom. And it's not like being rude and abusive towards others is ever justified. Also is it just me, or the trope of jerk tops winning and getting their way is very tired? I have seen it in shojo and yaoi for decades.
That i did not understand. HE acted cruel towards an inoccent person just because he felt like it. The trope of top jerks getting their ways has become annoying to me. Most stories are like this, and a lot of potential is wasted on premises that have no real value in my opinion. Because what is the point in seeing awful, abusive people tourtoring inoccent people and getting happy love endings? Like are we for real?

Never read a novel where the villain stays the villain. I don’t really understand the last two chapters. And why he suddenly “changed”. I feel like he’s the same. Shitty ass mountain.
I actually don’t mind mean tops at all in stories, but this one didn’t interest me. I just didn’t really “get” him. I blame the writing tbh. Cuz I couldn’t really get a grasp on him at all. So I couldn’t tell if he’s growing in any way. Which I don’t think he did. Again tops don’t need to change or grow, they can be evil or mean whatever idgaf. But at least give me better writing lmao
