But like I know, I don’t think there’s gonna be a Chase arc or a time jump or anything around here but like if he did disappear and then he was raising the kid alone, and the kid was just all over him, trying to get hugs all the time and then all of a sudden like they’re outside and the kids like smooching him would love and the alpha pops up . the mc is so dumb it's incredible. he hears about ml smiling at his phone and ppl speculating he's in a relationship and he doesn't even think that he could be smiling at his text that he sent around the same time. he hears about how giddy the ml has been since morning and doesn't even consider the fact that he could be giddy about going to work together and furthering their relationship.
he's so insecure and scared of being abandoned that he thinks the ml to be a cheating two timing bastard and never dares ask him about it.
also taking rumors as the truth bc of his insecurity is top tier dumbassery.
