To this point bec. it really shows how despite the love interest's growing fondness towards the mc, more often times than not he sees him as a plaything. I still remember in the early chapters how he internally labelled him along the lines of "easy" in his mind.
Never trusted this man even when he saved the mc from the loan sharks. He thinks of himself as a hero for taking him out of that miserable situation without realizing that he is another form of suffocating prison for the mc.
Ngl, I want them to be apart of months or if possible years just so he has a long time reflecting on his actions
