Season 2 was a mess with how Jungwon became abusive and toxic and Hoseob's ONLY friend ends up being terrible as well (though a part of me wonders if the author did this because they knew Jungwon being toxic would make people ship Hoseob with Jaebeom), but Jungwon asks why Hoseob would want to speak with someone who pretty much put his life in danger. Are we just glossing over the fact that Jungwon took advantage of Hoseob and manipulated him into feeling guilty a couple times in S2? Gee, I guess we are.
