my thoughts on the prosecutors proposal

this will have major spoilers so if you havent finished the drama don't read

I rate it around 7/10 or a 3/5. It wasnt bad, it was pretty good actually but the only problem I had was the pacing.

After I finished ep1 I had high expectations actually, the pacing was okay and the crime aspect of it was interesting. Halfway thru ep2 I noticed that there was only 10 episodes so I HAD to check if it was still on going and to my surprise, it was not I wondered how the hell will they handle the two main leads relationship and their trauma while dealing with unsolved crimes that they later find out to be all connected so there's ANOTHER LAYER of complexity to the story with an already complex relationship between the two leads. I was already around ep5 at this point and im like?? okay they definitely won't be able to fit everything in 10 episodes with 25-30mins each and I WAS RIGHT. Everything felt so rushed and even EMPTY?? The most disappointing part was Song Hanuels character bc HE WAS SO INTERESTING! and THAT just happened. Wdym he's suddenly the secret-we-all-thought-aborted-child and they decided to not elaborate and expand his story at all like wtf. We got 10 mins of him crashing out about how his life fucking sucks while threatening mc on the rooftop and then our prince charming ml who also has his character development put on 10x speed where then hanuel crashed out even more but mc took the point AGAIN but this time its a deep wound and BOOM ITS DONE, WE DONT GET TO SEE SHIT BUT A FEW SCENES AND A 2 MINUTE NEWS REPORT ABOUT THE CRIMES BEING CONNECTED and the perpetrators are two ex lovers who still love eachother very much who used their son to clean after the mess they made

they cut off half my rant wtf

tldr for the cut off part: frustrated about mc and mls personal and relationship development bc it was rushed or just not talked much about at all especially their personal problems, trauma and ea development bc it's so important to the plot, as important as the list of crimes they were solving but "why should we be happy alone when we can suffer together" was straight up BARS but it unfortunately doesnt make up for the lack of development we saw for the very cool and complex relationship with a son of a murderer x son of the victim trope.
