Unfortunately it’s because no one respects her as a princess so they ignore or encourage it.
Hierarchy means nothing is no one sees you as a part of it unless there is a means to an end. Plus she is “ just a woman “, good to marry but otherwise ignorable unless she gains power and respect or love somehow.
Something that I really dont understand or maybe I skip something while reading, is how herdin contiunely disrespect blair which is a princess, either when kids, the past when he cheat, or present (disrespect in hierarchy noble way I mean)
