I JUST started reading the novel and am on chapter 5, they cut out a portion already lmao. It’s so early too. The part in the manhwa after speaking at the house and it cuts to the scene of MC smoking and the ML saying he’s bored- there’s an entire scene that was cut out here. I was wondering why that was included and thought it was just a stylistic thing.

In the novel it starts out with Alexei complimenting MC and saying he’s handsome, and MC has thoughts about how Alexei has changed and has become more honest and gentle due to his partner. (So it seems like they’re hinting more about how MC used to be a sort of 2nd Lead in Alexei’s story) There’s a whole scene of more flirting that ML does, putting his arms around Mc from behind. MC curses and ML is into it telling him to say it again.

Anyways i would suggest reading the novel alongside the manhwa so you don’t miss out on anything. The novel title is “Icing on the Cake.”
