Ouuh I love predictions and analysis! I have a strong feeling you’re right. At some point we’re definitely going to see how Ideum’s insecurities make him doubt Jaeyi’s feelings. It’s going to be hard to read ㅠㅠ he’s so sweet i wanna skip all the PAIN
I feel like Ideum dismissing the whole “misunderstanding” and his own feelings could really reflect how he’ll think about the possibility of the two of them having feelings for each other in the future. He genuinely has such low self-esteem. I can see both of them being in denial about their feelings for each other, with Jaeyi being more privileged in the sense that he’s able to recognize and accept his feelings, while Ideum would probably struggle to even acknowledge his.
Plus, Ideum is a writer, so he might actually be the first one to notice Jaeyi’s feelings for him. But I feel like recognizing those feelings would only make everything more complicated for him, because he’d probably experience them so intensely while still struggling to believe that someone like Jaeyi could genuinely feel that way about him.
But hey, idk, that’s just my two cents With all the smut author-nim has been giving us, I wouldn’t be surprised if they suddenly hit us with the angst instead.
