Once you've read chapter 7 it only gets better from there

Something about this manhwa is so captivating even though it has elements that are cliché like the fwb thing, but i can't really pinpoint what exactly made this manhwa feel different from the rest within the same genre.

Maybe it's the refreshing features of the characters, or maybe it's the way author does write about the smut aspect, but sometimes choose to skip it and focus more on building the tension and relationship between our main leads.

I'm very invested in the story, I like how their established relationship is strictly "fwb" but they seem to care about the other and have a very domestic vibe with each other. Like come onnn, Jaeyi having his toothbrush in Ideum's house?? Sleeping together in the same bed even tho his house is literally next door?? They're so domestic I can't, I'm already imaging the moment one of them realising that they have a feeling for the other.

This is exactly what I said! It was a couple weeks ago so my comments disappeared now (this website only keeps to 100 pages of comments!) but I said the same thing - I can't pinpoint exactly why this comic is so endearing to me, but I think it's the realistic way it's approached friends with benefits - a bit awkward, horny, friendly and somewhat cuddly. It's rare we see people actually care about each other in BL fwb, especially to have the top just naturally being caring towards him even if he's not in love yet. It feels more... Natural, healthy, realistic and how fwb often feels in real life. Many relationships, especially I think with queer men, start with sex and slowly develop emotions but they're generally not dicks to each other in the meantime.

I think too many BL authors think we like red flag tops, lots of drama and miscommunication etc every chapter?? So many people seem to love this story because it's relatively mundane in its plot in comparison to all of those dramas, yet the characters feel real, endearing, flawed and messy and nice, still with potential for character development too.

I think we love this because of it's relatively ordinary setting, it's refreshing in it's realism. Give us more caring tops please! We seem to either get devoted guys who'll kill anyone to protect their cutie from day 1... Or like, red flag toxic assholes. The in between is somewhat refreshing
