Probably cuz it's manhwa. Korea and China have beef after all. Chinese games don't incorporate korean culture into their games too. Like genshin for example
honestly it seems the author also doesn't like the US as they are depicting them as opportunistic and selfish in a way that they would do anything to get the holy sword owner
