I find it weird too that's why I always skip his inner monologue lol.
Last i remember in the OG novel there wasn’t really signs he liked FL romantically. It only started due to him projecting his mother’s image onto her and having the fear of her dying like his mom- so he wanted to fulfill all her previous wishes.
Am I the only one who finds it weird that Raymond keeps associating his mother with Agnes, and that being one of the reasons why he’s falling for her
