Last i remember in the OG novel there wasn’t really signs he liked FL romantically. It only started due to him projecting his mother’s image onto her and having the fear of her dying like his mom- so he wanted to fulfill all her previous wishes.

Let’s see the duke had two sons (the ML and Luca’s father) but they have different mothers. It’s Luca’s father who is related to her so that means Luca’s parents were the ones who are related. But not Judith and Ruediger. ╮(￣▽￣)╭
Well technically they are cousins in the sense that they’re cousin in-laws. I’m still reading the book, but I just find it funny that technically Ruediger and Judith are cousins

Jonas isn't the duke's real son, princess vanessa got pregnant and to not make it suspicious she married the duke to convinced everyone she has given him a child before passing away. So Judith and Ruediger aren't related at all.
Oh yh I have just recently finished it, so in the end I had nothing to worry about
