The fl is just securing her future, and at first the cheating (if u can even call it that) was consensual. I mean they’re not even really in a relationship in the first place (they’re in an arranged marriage, they’re basically colleagues that just started developing feelings) yet ppl are holding the fl to standards that denote that they’ve been in loving relationship as if the ml hasn’t *just* started liking her. And just because someones telling you they like you that alone isn’t enough when they obviously didn’t like you in the beginning, and even tried manipulating you all the time- in my mind I would still think they’re tryna manipulate me, and at least build up a backup plan (gaining money), incase this is really all a rouse. But that’s just me tho
