Last i remember in the OG novel there wasn’t really signs he liked FL romantically. It only started due to him projecting his mother’s image onto her and having the fear of her dying like his mom- so he wanted to fulfill all her previous wishes.
The fl is just securing her future, and at first the cheating (if u can even call it that) was consensual. I mean they’re not even really in a relationship in the first place (they’re in an arranged marriage, they’re basically colleagues that just started developing feelings) yet ppl are holding the fl to standards that denote that they’ve been in loving relationship as if the ml hasn’t *just* started liking her. And just because someones telling you they like you that alone isn’t enough when they obviously didn’t like you in the beginning, and even tried manipulating you all the time- in my mind I would still think they’re tryna manipulate me, and at least build up a backup plan (gaining money), incase this is really all a rouse. But that’s just me tho
All you ned to know about the MC is that he’s an absolute bird but at least they’re happy I guess… (also am I the only one who noticed they’ve changed the art style like 5 times)

Jonas isn't the duke's real son, princess vanessa got pregnant and to not make it suspicious she married the duke to convinced everyone she has given him a child before passing away. So Judith and Ruediger aren't related at all.
