I agree, the dialogue has been killing me, I’m making the assumption it’s due to the setting being America, I get the vibe the author took inspo from movies and such, to capture the culture, but it just falls flat cause it feels unnatural. I also think this author maybe struggles with writing dialogue that feels more natural. The way the British people were speaking in the new chapter felt super awkward and “American” (like a movie script).
