Showing him experience that super high, high, his delusion still at its peak. Having this delusion slowly crumbling as he gets continuously rejected, revealing to Mok-yeon what he truly means to nanjo at this point and shattering his own perception of their relationship, throwing him into the really low, lows, locking himself away and failing to take care of his basic needs. His feelings are too extreme and as we can see, dangerous, he’s self destructive and inflicts pain upon himself (as a coping mechanism, I assume?). We saw it in season 1 with the earring.
I didn’t think this story would be up my alley since season 1 wasn’t really my personal taste (still enjoyed it), season 2 however, phenomenal so far, I’m super happy this story is leaning into the psychological aspect, showcasing a flawed mc struggling with clear mental health issues, and his self sabotage as a result of these mental health issues.(I tried to cut this short, hopefully it’s not too long)
Didn’t expect shin to be so ride or die for the man he calls “bastard”. It’s so perfect :,)
