Possibly because of his upbringing, but I think once he realised he is gay/bi he might change his mind when he isn't able to marry the person he likes. If he realised that earlier in his life, he might not have been MAGA at all. Though I think he would be one of those celebrities who never actually comes out politically to maintain PR appeareances.
i think you may be forgetting the fact that he gay asf, though there are a multitude of lgbtq maga supporters.. still, being associated with Yujin i think is enough proof that he wouldn't be MAGA or even care about politics to that extreme extent
