U aren't actually, that's usually the standard for parents like how they want their child to be, for me if my son is gay I'll just support him for who he is since once I grow old who else will be taking care of me other than my child , but though is it Haram to be gay? I'm Muslim but I don't know if it's Haram or not , also I ain't sure but I heard getting f##ed in the anus or f##ing in the anus is Haram
you're definitely not overreacting. my parents always get disappointed whenever i don't meet their expectations. i come from a muslim family too, and honestly they don't give a shit or maybe they're just clueless enough not to care about what im doing with my life or whatever im reading or watching. they have absolutely no idea about lgbtq media
Yeah they don't have any idea about it also they don't care about it , and here's what I noticed it's just from my family but they support people being gay or lesbian but when it's us like their blood family they would think it's embarrassing, shameful and would absolutely not support you , like usually family care about reputation that's probably why they'd want straight children, smart child, and good looking child

jokes aside,i feel like im a fraud in my muslim household,im gay, stupid, ugly, and useless,my sisters and mom found out im gay but decides not to tell my dad yet,if he knows im dead.sometimes when i see people that have good relationship with their family members on the public i just wanna cry because im so jealous of them, how??? do you have to be straight, smart and goodlooking and straight first to be lovable by your family members??? or am i just overreacting???
