I tried to read the second couples story again since I failed the first time (a while ago) and apparently, I’m failing a second time, it’s actually so buns I’m sorry. They’re basically just tropes. The dreaded age gap, unrequited love, “yearning” (stalking) combo. One forcing himself onto the other after getting a clear rejection. Mind you, I read this a while ago because I saw people hyping up the second couple… Main couple were much more interesting to me, they fall out often but, it feels like a realistic depiction of a neurodivergent individual and a neurotypical individual dating. They struggle to understand each other, because they literally function differently, it’s interesting and a bit exhausting, but in a good way. The pay off is great too, they’re cute together once they overcome the challenges of their differences.
