why the top gotta be a typical man (no offense fellas) and somehow get the wrong idea despite bottom being SO fucking clear about it. uke did not hide the boyfriend thing. pretty sure he even used that word directly more than once. along with so much other dialogue that was very clear about the situation.
maybe it’s just me, but I am so mother fucking direct about shit, often in multiple conversations over time (been together 14 yrs) and yet the conclusion my husband retains from these VERY CLEAR CONVERSATIONS are wildly different from what was said. I’ve even asked him to recap what I said to be absolutely sure he gets it. then when it comes up again later - totally different interpretation in his memory. like what the hell are us emotional, empathic, dick-takers supposed to do different ya'll
