He sent her away because their super strong powers can easily kill her due to her weak body and lack of defense against the family’s powers, even the mom told the dad to send her away to the aunt. The dad didn’t know about the abuse because the aunt didn’t send reports, so he had to go under cover. He didn’t even know that the aunt was spending his child support. They explain this in the first place, did you not read?
