I guess the new guy that wants revenge for killing his father, is the older brother of mc. As we can see a newborn baby laying in the crib but the imugi didn't kill it because he felt the bead I think. But somehow somewhere the new guy and mc got separated and thinks his whole family was killed by the imugi. I also think the new guy's family must be related to the bad shaman that led the villagers astray.
