The thing that bothers me other than just the kid being freaking weird, like really really weird, cause my professors used to hang out outside of class too so I don't really see that as weird but maybe in Korea it's different(?), but like broski you broke up with him. You cut it off with him. You put an expiration date on your escapades when y'all weren't even together. So how can you make it seem like it's his problem that you can't commit? That's where I'm a little lost on that, especially since there's no indicator that he like "cheated" or anything. It just seems like he was too afraid to commit to their relationship and when he wanted to be dramatic to break it off he didn't get the reaction that he wanted. At least not at the beginning since you know...they're both back now. But still it just seems hyper dramatic to me. And I understand the backstory, but like... I don't think it's relatable to the actions of when they were in college because he chose to break that off unlike his mother to what it looks like...just my pov
