the tattoo reads “Socius”
Definition:
in latin, it stands for “membership” in this context, or by definition, “ally”, “companion”, “comrade”, and “partner”.
Like Tauttomato said, it says Socius. This tattoo comes in play multiple times later in the novel! Important plot point.
